Room for Two
Samson & Odette
We were so excited to have our farm come with a beautiful spring-fed pond. But within two months of moving in, the pond started to develop thick algae and weeds in the summer heat. Aerators and nature-friendly treatments did nothing to help clear it up. Looking for an eco-friendly solution, the feed mill owner asked "Have you looked into getting swans?" Definitely wasn't on our bucket list but what an adventure it's become.
